It is an additive to regulate the concentration of ink, but also can increase the thickness of the film layer, improve its abrasion resistance, it does not have the coloring force and hiding power. Mainly barium sulfate, talcum powder, calcium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, etc., when used to grind it into white powder.
Its function is to reduce the viscosity of the ink, prevent the occurrence of stripping film, so that the ink has a job suitability. Commonly used diluent have low polymerization linseed oil, mineral oil, etc. The former is easy to mix with the ink, the effect is gentle, the latter dilution is obvious, but avoid excessive, otherwise the printing effect is not good.
Anti-knot skin agent
Its function is to restrain the drying speed of ink, to prevent the drying of the ink on the mechanical conjunctival. Its main ingredient is organic reductant and antioxidants. It can be added to ink, can also be sprinkled on the mechanical contact ink.
Its role is to prevent printing ink layer to print back to the paper to ensure the quality of the printing. The most commonly used anti-printing agent is corn starch.
Its function is to improve the friction and fluidity of ink, reduce viscosity, improve the smoothness of the film layer, reduce paper nap phenomenon. The additives used in ink are high melting point of microcrystalline wax, synthetic wax and so on.
